NUR JAHAN - Vintage Rose
Hand Knitted Necklace with Swarovski crystal
A delicate hand knitted antique-bronze copper necklace, in a graduated crescent design. This crescent style of necklace was a popular shape frequently worn by Mughal royalty, commonly made in gold, the outer-edges and body studded with colourful precious gems. This design is named after the persian empress Nur-Jahan, who's name translates as 'Light of the World'.
The piece is designed to sit high at the middle of the neck, delicately curving around to the nape. The bottom line of the necklace sways and shimmers with clear white swarovski crystal circular pendant drops. The dusky rose crystal palette slowly fades into vintage khaki towards the top of the necklace, with blush-rose, vintage-rose and jonquil-satin bicone swarovski crystals.
The piece is 4cm wide at the centre, tapering to 1.5cm at the ends. The length around is 28cm extending to 31cm with the sterling silver extender chain.
Finished with a sterling lobster clasp & extender chain. A sterling silver heart & clear white swarovski crystal pendant sits at the end of the extender chain as a finishing touch.
A beautiful necklace to wear for that special occasion.
The necklace will come packaged in a beautiful customised silver jewellery box with magnetic closure. Gift packaging can be requested.
