Inspired by the warm sweet colours of Filipino sweet yam or ube - which is fast becoming a popular flavouring for pastries, cakes and ice-cream.
It conjures up warm purples, bronze, rose and earthy browns.
A delicate pair of semi-circular earrings, hand crocheted with double entwined enamelled copper wires in pale bronze and lilac, embellished at the bottom with a crescent of luxury crystals in amethyst, dark-rose, blush-rose and caramel.
The crocheted piece measures 2.5 cm across its widest part.
The earrings are finished with rose-gold filled hooks, measuring 3 cm from the top of hook to bottom of the earrings.
