Hand crocheted earrings / Gold-plated
These two-tier earrings feature delicate hand crocheted stitches in chartreuse & lilac enamelled copper, edged with the softest lilac toned luxury yarn. Crystals in matching purple hues sit along the edge of the top tier in triangular fashion.
The second tier is hand crocheted in hand dyed yarn. The 100% merino yarn was the Vogue Knitting Live 2020 special colourway, hand-dyed by Karin of The Periwinkle Sheep yarns, who is based in Albany, New York. This pure merino yarn encompasses shades of silver, purple, lilac, pink and soft khaki, reminding me of beautiful lilac tree blossoms in the spring. This tier is framed with similar purple gradient crystals in a crescent form.
The earrings are finished with gold filled hooks.
The earrings measure 3cm across at their widest point, and 5cm from the top of hook to the bottom of earring.
These pieces are made with specialist hand-dyed yarn, which may not always be available, so they are made in small quantities, and would therefore be limited in number.
The wire colour may vary slightly depending on the reel batch, and how the yarn colours fall within the piece may vary depending on which part of the yarn I start crocheting with, but any variation will be very slight.
The crystals will be identical to the sample image. However, if you would prefer a different colour crystal, let me know in the comments section on checkout and I can swap them over for you.
