Textile / Sterling silver pendant
Inspired by the ornate wooden-carved octagonal ceilings within the Real Alcazar in Seville, Spain. This delicate hexagonal pendant is hand crocheted with chartreuse and lilac entwined enamelled copper wires to resemble the intricate detail of the wooden structures.
The wirework is surrounded by amethyst crystals and then edged in luxury hand-dyed yarn.
The 100% merino yarn was the Vogue Knitting Live 2020 special colourway, hand-dyed by Karin of The Periwinkle Sheep yarns, who is based in Albany, New York. This pure merino yarn encompasses shades of silver, purple, lilac, pink and soft khaki, reminding me of beautiful lilac tree blossoms in the spring.
The pendant hangs from an sterling silver bail and measures 4 cm across and 4.5 cm from top of bail to bottom of pendant.
The pendant can be purchased without a chain or with a choice of 18" or 24" sterling silver rolo chain.
The pendant will come packaged in a beautiful customised silver jewellery box with magnetic closure. Ideal if purchasing as a present.
