Textile & Crystal Shawl/Hair Pin - Ube

Introducing a new colourway in the form of sweet Ube.

Inspired by the warm sweet colours of Filipino sweet yam or ube - which is fast becoming a popular flavouring for pastries, cakes and ice-cream!
It conjures up warm purples, bronze, rose and earthy browns.

Delicately hand crocheted & stitched shawl/hair pin using enamelled rose gold and lilac entwined copper wires and hand dyed merino yarn, edged in luxury crystals.

The crystals around the edge pick out colours in the yarn, in a crescent of amethyst, black diamond, greige, lilac, caramel and burnt-orange.

How the yarn colours fall within the piece may vary depending on which part of the yarn I start crocheting with, but any variation will be very slight.

These pieces are made with specialist one-skein hand-dyed yarn, and therefore limited in number.

It can be worn as a shawl pin or embellishment for the hair.

The pin is 11cm long and 4cm wide and is available in a silver or gold finish.

These are a made-to-order item, so for UK & Europe please allow at least 3 weeks for delivery and 6 weeks for USA & Worldwide.

The item will be shipped by Tracked 48 delivery for the UK.
