An organza bag full of goodies.
For those who just want to have a play with wire and explore knitting/crocheting with wire & crystals.
This colourway is called Art Nouveau as it reminds me of the colours popular during that design movement, in stained glass, home decor & furnishings.
The bag contains:
- 35g reel of 0.25mm green enamelled copper wire (about 82metres)
- 100x 4mm swarovski elements crystals in colour mix of: montana (navy), indicolite (turquoise), olivine, amethyst & light amethyst.
As a bonus I have included a pattern for a christmas tree star decoration. This could be adapted to become a pendant for example, so the pattern is not limited to the xmas season. This gives some basic instructions in knitting a square of wire and how to incorporate crystals by following a pattern chart. The pattern uses 30 crystals.
You can play around with the pattern and try knitting a bracelet for instance by just repeating the chart over and over. Findings/bracelet endings can be found from many beading sites online.
